Wash and Dry Measurements: For the most accurate comparison, measure your jeans after they've been washed and dried (medium heat). 100% cotton denim naturally relaxes slightly with wear.
Vintage Wear Expectations: Vintage denim has lived a life! Expect potential signs of wear, such as thinning areas, loose threads, subtle discolorations, or organic distressing. We strive to accurately describe any significant imperfections in our product listings.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR JEANS FOR COMPARISON:

Measurements - Flat Lay Method:

Lay Flat: Place your washed and dried 100% cotton jeans on a flat surface.
Waist: Measure across the top waistband, from one edge to the other.
Rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg opening.
Hips: Measure across the jeans at the widest point, typically just below the base of the zipper.
Thigh: Measure across the thigh, approximately 2-3 inches below the crotch seam.
Leg Opening: Measure across the bottom leg opening.

Measurements - Human Form Method:

Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, typically about an inch above your belly button. Keep the measuring tape level and comfortably snug, not too tight.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Again, keep the tape level.
Inseam: This is the measurement from the crotch seam to the bottom of your leg. For the most accurate measurement, it's best to have someone else help. Stand straight with your feet slightly apart. Measure along the inside of your leg. Consider the type of shoes you'll typically wear with the jeans, as this can affect the desired length. Alternatively, you can measure a pair of jeans that fit well. Lay the jeans flat and measure the inseam.
Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh, just below the crotch. Keep the tape measure level.
Rise: This measurement is from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband. This measurement is very important for comfort in your jeans. There are two types of rise measurements. Front rise, and back rise.
Leg Opening: Measure the circumference of the leg opening at the bottom of the pant leg.
